This session will focus on moving beyond technology for technology's sake. It also will focus on doing more than simply replicating analog teaching tasks with fancier, more expensive bells and whistles. We'll pay attention to communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity (the 4 Cs) as well as other components of rich, engaged learning environments. Participants will be introduced to a draft set of questions that can guide classroom technology usage toward deeper learning by students and will have practice applying those questions to example lessons.
